HSUHK Students Won Six Prizes in China Daily Campus Newspaper Awards

Students from the School of Communication (SCOM) of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) won a total of six prizes in the 2018 China Daily Campus Newspaper Awards. The achievements are encouraging, signifying the profession’s high recognition of students’ learning outcomes and their ability to put knowledge into practice.

This year, 724 entries were received from 38 universities from mainland China, Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong under 26 award categories. The entries were evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of journalism professors and media veterans.

The Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 2 Nov 2018. Mr Paul Chan Mo-po, Financial Secretary of the HKSAR Government, was the officiating guest. Professor Scarlet Tso, Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Affairs) and Dean of SCOM of HSUHK, and academic staff of SCOM joined the ceremony to congratulate the students on their achievements.
