HSUHK SCOM Students Win 4 Prizes in 2020 Campus News Awards

28 December 2020

Students of the School of Communication (SCOM) won a total of 4 awards in the 2020 Campus News Awards (CNA). The award-winning entries this year were selected from 700-plus submissions by higher education institutions from the “cross-strait four regions”.

Professor Scarlet Tso, Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Affairs) and Dean of the School of Communication, points out that the competition took place during a period in which simple things like conducting interviews and reporting are challenging because of the COVID-19. She also said the fact that our students were able to produce outstanding pieces in spite of the difficult environment and won awards in this fierce competition is truly commendable. Students of the School of Communication have been participating in the CNA since 2014 and they have won a total of 36 awards over the years. This is a validation of their outstanding performance and high academic standards amongst students from other institutions in the “cross-strait four regions”.
