MA-SC Students Hold Successful Academic Seminar at School of Communication

On Thursday, May 4th, 2023, the Master of Arts in Strategic Communication (MA-SC) program at the School of Communication held a successful academic seminar. Six current master’s students presented academic reports. They utilized the theoretical knowledge they acquired in the program to analyze the communication strategies and effectiveness of emerging topics, presenting their findings in academic reports.

Dr. Howard Song, the MA-SC Program Director, hosted the seminar, while Professor Ronald Chiu, the Associate Dean of SCOM, delivered the opening remarks. The seminar also featured the participation of esteemed faculty members, including Professor Chen Ling, Dr. Keith Cheung, Dr. Clio Wu, Dr. Irina Yu, Dr. Connie Chan, Dr. Sobel Chan, and Ms. Janice Wong. They provided valuable feedback and asked insightful questions about each student’s report. The seminar was highly beneficial for the students, who gained valuable knowledge and skills from the feedback and discussions.
