The School of Communication at Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) is proud to serve as a supporting organisation for this innovative and dynamic event., This collaboration seeks to introduce cutting-edge technology into the community, encouraging greater curiosity and engagement with the exciting intersection of technology, sports, media, and communication.
HADO is an innovative augmented reality (AR) techno-sport that challenges players’ reflexes, strategic thinking, and teamwork. Players wear AR-enabled headsets and arm sensors to engage in real-time 3v3 battles, launching energy balls and deploying shields in a thrilling competitive environment. Since its launch in 2016, HADO has successfully expanded to over 40 countries and regions worldwide, with more than 10 million total players to date.
