BJC Talk Series 17: My Life in Chinese Society
Mr. Gill Mohindepaul Singh, known as Q Bo Bo and a Hong Kong famous Indian artist, was invited to be the guest speaker at the 17th BJC Talk. Mr. Q Bo Bo shared a variety of experience in Hong Kong with our students.
Mr. Q Bo Bo described the cultural conflicts that he encountered in Hong Kong as he is a member of ethnic minority. He has introduced the traditional culture of Indian families, his love experience, the bitterness that he suffered at work in Hong Kong as well as the experience after entering the Outline of Entertainment after taking part in the “Minutes To Fame” in a humourous tone.
“Nothing is impossible; there will be reward if you work hard. The only thing you do not know is the time the reward comes.” Mr. Q Bo Bo said. With his sharing to our students, students learnt more about the life of minority groups in Hong Kong.
