Students of the School of Communication (SCOM) of HSUHK won a total of 5 awards in China Daily Hong Kong’s 2022 Campus Newspaper Awards (CNA)s, including the champion of the “Best in News Page Design (Chinese)”!
For the first time in three years journalism students from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan gathered in Hong Kong to attend the Campus Newspaper Awards ceremony. The annual event is the only competition that brings together students from the four places. Launched by China Daily Hong Kong in 2012, this year’s competition received almost 1,000 entries from 62 universities, including in-depth stories and feature videos in both English and Chinese. The event is held every year since inception. This year marks the 11th anniversary of the event.
Also, this year Campus News Awards gave 26 awards to outstanding works by journalism students.
