Professor Scarlet Tso, Dean of the School of Communication (SCOM) at HSU, signed a MoU with Professor Liu Tao, Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of Jinan University (JNU) on 5 October 2023, to bolster the relationship with JNU and elevate the development of SCOM in the GBA.
Professor Tso led a delegation of SCOM to visit the School of Journalism and Communication of JNU in May. Professor Zhi Tingrong, Party Secretary, Professor Zeng Yiguo and Professor Luo Xin, the two Associate Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of JNU, welcomed the delegation. As the two Schools shared the same objective of nourishing young communication talents in GBA, both believed that more cooperation would be beneficial to the development in this regard. The two Schools also expressed interest to foster cooperation in areas such as competitions, student exchanges, and academic research.
