Students from the School of Communication of the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong have once again received two awards at the China Daily Campus News Awards 2026.
This year, the competition attracted a record-breaking number of submissions, receiving 1,066 Chinese and English entries from over 3,000 participants representing more than 100 colleges and universities from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Among the submissions, two groups of SCOM students were presented with the Merit Prize in “Best Feature News Video Reporting” and the Merit Prize in “Best Short Video Reporting”.
The judging panel, comprising over a hundred university professors and senior media professionals, ensured a fair and objective evaluation process. It is highly encouraging to see SCOM students stand out among more than a thousand competing entries.
