SCOM Talk Show ep29: Mr Wing-mo Leung

“As we are tormented by the pandemic and many other problems, we may be preoccupied with our current predicaments at the expense of ignoring the bigger crisis to come. The impact of climate change will be comparable to the pandemic. We must set our sight afar and try our best to deal with the bigger crisis.”

The School of Communication (SCOM) presents to you the latest episode of SCOM Talk Show (恒傳感言). Mr Wingmo Leung, Hong Kong’s first generation of “Mr Weather” and former Assistant Director of Hong Kong Observatory, shows his concerns for how Hong Kong people tackle the problem of global climate change. He believes that no one can stand aloof from the climate crisis without changing their lifestyles. Compared to the pandemic, the impact brought by climate change will be even greater in ten years if we do not make changes now, and the hardship will multiply. What do you think? Let’s watch Mr Leung‘s sharing now!
