SCOM Talk Show ep58: Professor Poon Lit-man Leo

“Opportunities are for those who are well-prepared. Be prepared whether in good times or bad, and you will be able to seize opportunities with vigour when they come your way.”

Professor Poon Lit-man Leo (潘烈文), Professor and Division Head of Public Health Laboratory Sciences of LSK Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, was dedicated to studying topics related to emerging viruses. Being the first scholar to decode the genetic sequence of the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) coronavirus, he also developed rapid antigen tests swiftly during the COVID-19 outbreak. What did he gain from these experiences? What are his predictions and views about this pandemic that has swept the world? How does he perceive the human–nature relationship?
Let’s watch Professor Poon’s sharing now.
