2022年11月03日 立法會議員及港九勞工社團聯會（勞聯）主席林振昇先生於2022年11月3日到訪傳播學院，隨行嘉賓包括勞聯副主席陳萬聯應先生、副主席譚志聰先生、培訓總監黃思瀚先生、會務總監李卓燊先生及林議員的議辦主任張瑩瑩女士與傳訊經理張月琪女士。 會議於當日早上在袁炳濤校園利國偉教學大樓李秉源會議廳舉行。傳播學院院長曹虹教授、副院長趙應春教授及副教授張志宇博士首先向到訪嘉賓表示熱烈歡迎。雙方在簡介各自的業務及發展路向後，隨即就多項議題交換意見，討論的事項包括學生的實習機會、自資院校面對的多種挑戰、自資院校本科課程取錄內地學生的學額限制、院校及大專學生於大灣區的發展機會、拓展職業導向教育及推行應用學習學位課程的可能性等等，雙方均期望日後能作出進一步的討論及在有關範疇開展合作計劃。 曹虹院長、趙應春副院長及張志宇博士隨後陪同一眾嘉賓參觀傳播學院的設施。林議員及其他隨行嘉賓均對有關的培訓設施十分感到興趣，並對傳播學院用心提高課程質素及提供與時並進的教學環境予以充分肯定。 傳播學院院長曹虹教授、副院長趙應春教授及副教授張志宇博士向嘉賓介紹傳播學院的業務與特色。 林振昇議員、勞聯代表及其他同行嘉賓與傳播學院積極交換意見。 林振昇議員分享他對多項議題的看法。 傳播學院院長曹虹（左一）致送紀念品予林振昇議員（右一）。 林振昇議員及隨行嘉賓參觀傳播學院培訓設施。 雙方大合照留念。
